BID Contribution

Fiscal Responsibility

The B.I.D. is a set of business owners who are contributing their time, money and energy to attracting and keeping business in Chatsworth. As business owners, each member realizes the necessity for fiscal responsibility with the funds contributed by stakeholders. This includes looking for new ways to drive down material costs as competition and new technology emerges.

The B.I.D. is always looking for input on new ways to drive down costs. If you have suggestions as a stakeholder, please complete the B.I.D. Quarterly Survey to provide input and feedback for improvements.

Some examples of our efforts include our website and street maintenance consolidation and cost reduction.

In addition, our efforts include generating revenue for the B.I.D. to increase the impact we make with the funds. Revenue generated through festivals, fairs, parades and websites supplement maintenance costs and special projects.

American Flag Installation

The American Flag Installation is an ongoing contribution by the Chatsworth B.I.D. occuring two times per year. The first installation goes from Memorial Day to the 4th of July and the second goes from Labor Day to Christmas. The installation is a joint effort with the Chatsworth Kiwanis Club.

The installations are designed to draw attention to the Devonshire Corridor and show our community support, in memorial, in celebration of our country, our economic development and spirit of the holiday season.

It also acts to provide a changing landscape that is noticed in the community and brings attention to Devonshire Corridor and the affiliated businesses.

Shop Chatsworth Website

The Shop Chatsworth Website is a business directory provided to stakeholders for the sake of marketing and driving business.

For businesses with websites, this directory acts as a link to the site, which drives increased ratings within search engines (Search Engine Optimization). It produces its own ratings in search engines and consumers use it to learn about listed businesses. The directory is free to all stakeholders. Business Descriptions, pictures, videos and Gold Card Offers may be posted to the site.
